Beningbrough Hall

Beningbrough Hall

Beningbrough Hall was built in 1716 by York landowner, John Bourchier III. It is a Grade I listed building and maintained by the National Trust.

It is supposedly haunted by a phantom female said to have been murdered there in either the 1670's or 1760's; and the apparition of a man wearing a tweed jacket.
